How to make a Flash Slideshow by yourself
Take the 6-step tour of Flash Slideshow Generator and learn about how quick and easy to create a Macromedia Flash File (SWF).
Step 1. Add Images
Flash Slideshow Generator supports images in
JPEG, GIF and BMP format.
Click 'Add Images' button, an image selection window will pop
up, and you can select the image by clicking its file name, and
then press 'open' to add it to the software. For multiple images,
just drag your mouse or hold down CTRL. The images you selected
will appear in the step-1 window. Click the “Next”
button to go on.
Tips:
Click 'Insert' button to add one or more images before the currently
selected image.
You can add images to the software with a simple drag and drop.
Step 2. Select effect type.
There are 3 types of the application mode of transition effect.
Check the one you like and click 'Next'.
Step 3. Set Transition Effect.
There are 150 quality transition effects included in our
Flash SlideShow Generator, and in this window, you can set up
transition effect for every image.
To setup slideshow effect for an image, double click the image
name, or click the 'Setup Effect' button to choose an effect for
the selected image, and then the 'Select Effect' window will pop
up.
There are 3 parts in this popup: Effect Category, Effect Name
and Effect preview. After you choose an Effect Category, all effects
in this category will display in the effect name part. Whenever
an effect name is selected, you can preview how it affects and
activates the slide on the left. Click 'OK' to finish the effect
selection.

Tips:
If you would like to use an effect for all images, you can check
the 'Apply to all images' option.
You must set up the transition effect for all images before you
go to next step.
Step 4. Select Paly Mode
Flash Slideshow Generator supports two play modes: Play Automatically and Play by click.

Step 5. Set Play Duration
You can control the flash playing speed by adjusting either the slide transition duration or the slide display duration, or both.
Click the duration number to setup a new duration.
Tips:
You can adjust the display duration and the transition duration for each photo, which is particularly useful when you want to highlight some of your favorite photos in a Flash slideshow
If you want to change play duration of all images, select an image
name, enter a new duration on the right side, check the “apply
to all images” option, and then click the 'Update' button.
You can preview the flash slideshow you create by clicking the
'Preview' button.
Step 6. Other Options
Here you can set up your flash file's dimension, add background
music to your slideshow and:
Compress Flash File: To reduce the file size of your slideshow, check this option.
Frame Rate: Frames per second. If you want a smooth transition, then set up a higher FPS, like 12 or 15. For a smaller file size, you should specify a lower FPS, like 6 or 8.
Protect Flash File: If you check this option, your flash slideshow will be protected and others cannot modify it by importing your slideshow into flash editing tools.
Overdraw: Determines whether your flash slideshow draws a new transition on the last ones. When this option is checked, the flash draws the new transition over the last one; otherwise before starting a new transition it clears the screen to the background.
Build Flash File: The final step:
You can select to save a single flash file or html file, or both. If you select html format, Flash Slideshow Generator will generate a html code of your flash slideshow, and you can simply copy and paste the html code to your webpage to integrate the slideshow into your site.
